Nephrotic Syndrome is a collection of signs and symptoms that occur when glomeruli are damaged.
Most often, Nephrotic Syndrome is defined by its primary diseases that attack the kidney’s filtering system. Doctors often call these diseases "idiopathic," which means that they have arisen without a known cause. These primary diseases include Minimal Change Disease (MCD), Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), and Membranous Nephropathy (MN) and are identified by kidney biopsy.

The best doctors are ones that spend time with you, listen to your concerns and take them seriously, and be willing to work with you to find the treatment that is best for you. If you find…
